June 2021. The “POLUNOCHNYKY” didn’t really exist yet. There was dust, concrete, and four people staying up at night, poring over cocktail books instead of sleeping. One story struck a chord with all four of us: in 1927, the legendary Harry Craddock sealed a cocktail shaker inside the wall of the American Bar at the Savoy Hotel. A message to the future, and proof that a bar is more than just a counter and bottles — it’s also stories and secrets.
We knew then that we wanted to create our own version. We took an engraved Cobbler shaker, filled it with a Negroni (the cocktail we all loved), and sealed it into the wall. Along with it, we quite literally built a piece of our soul into the bar.
Some of you knew about it, others didn’t — but for all these five years, the sealed Negroni has been a secret guest, right there beside you every evening. And it’s still there. If you’re curious to figure out where exactly the sealed shaker lives, look for the sign or try to spot its location in our video. That’s right — this is the very moment it all became history 🥃
